ted pollen will perform the role of herr drosselmeyer
The Academy is thrilled to announce that beloved former Academy teacher Theodore Pollen III will be performing the role of Herr Drosselmeyer in our 30th Anniversary Production of The Nutcracker. Ted was one of the original choreographers of our nutcracker ballet and taught at the academy for 26 years. He performed several roles during his tenure: Snow King, Arabian and Spanish while running the show in his usual calm, soft spoken manner. The excitement at his first two rehearsals at the studio was high and will continue to climb as we get closer to show time. Below is a picture of Ted from his Arabian performance.
This year's performances will be held at Staples High School, Dec 3rd at 3 & 7 pm, and Dec 4th at 2pm. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for student/seniors.
